Default Cannot see Photobucket images in posts

I have searched but did not see a post regarding this, only some on limits to the amount of pictures in a post.

I cannot see pictures posted in Photobucket. There is a message about upgrading my account to use third party....

Is this on my end (do i need a Photobucket account) or on the Calguns end. It would be nice to see the pictures.

Thanks

Default How to "Bump"

There might be an easier way but the way I do it is to locate my post in the forum, type "Bump" or some cute acronym that meets the minimum number of characters requirement in the Quick Reply text field then select Submit Reply. Good luck!

What are you asking? Imgur works fine as a free alternative to Pokeitinyerbuttket.

You need to resize once you've uploaded your photos to imgur. There is a resizing tool in the options.

I don't own an iPhone so I can't answer your question. I use a laptop and remember the process to resize as being a little convoluted to accomplish.

I would try accessing your imgur account using a computer/laptop to see if you can figure it out. Another option would be to start a thread in the Technology forum here on Calguns asking for help.

Try checking out the search results in the links below to see if they might be of help. Also, check the Apple App Store for a Imgur app for your iPhone as it might be what you need.

All...after many hours of searching and trying to figure out how to size and post a picture on here using only an iPhone and imgur. I’m hoping to find an easier way, but this is the only way I have found thus far.

Select picture > sent it to your own email address > select the size > save back to your iPhone > upload to imgur or other hosting site.

The upload picture function is not working. All attempts to upload a picture fails. I can e-mail saved pictures from my pc as attachments just fine. For whatever reason the picture upload feature is not working on Calguns.net...

I've registered on the Imgur site, but can't get it to output in a format that will display on the website. Had no problems with Photobucket, but I'm lost with this one.

I figured out how to upload and post, but now how to size properly. I suppose that I will need to pay more attention to the size of my images when I take the pictures.

When attaching a photo, using ‘manage files’ to upload, how do you resize photo to larger full-screen? Is that possible, or do photos need to be somehow resized prior to uploading? Thanks!

Although just using the URL does get a picture.

Trying this without photobucket or imgur, by clicking Go Advanced, then the paper clip icon, browse from phone’s photo library.

Default test

test of pics direct from office pc...
Pics resized already on pc, Go Advanced, click paperclip attachment, select pic, upload, select another pic, upload, wait a few, close window, done.
Preview post, good size pics, post to thread. Easy.

Edit: The downside is that to see the pics, you must be logged into your account. No account, no see picture.

Testing using Paperclip Attachment method, Upload small and medium, Close, click paperclip, Insert All....
This is easiest and best method.

Bunch of old picture tests deleted - they make it harder to find all the helpful answers in the thread.
