There is damage but things are basically working in Ridgecrest. Displaced folks have a place to go (the Kerr-McGee community center).

The biggest need for help is Trona (right up the road). It's a tough town on a normal day, and now they do not have water. National Guard has bottled water, so primary needs include food that doesn't need refrigeration or cooking, and personal hygiene supplies. The First Baptist church in Trona is the collection center.

yep, Trona has a lot of old houses are not designed properly for earthquake event. Ridgecrest is fine because most houses there are new and single story home. I was living there for a year and half.

i am finding a lot of retired low income and disabled veterans that lived in trailers being displaced because there home came of the jacks and they do not have the money to put them back on the jacks.
