I have tried many but keep coming back to my Glock 26. Great combination of reliability, concealability, capacity and accuracy.

The 3 on my permit are

Shield 1.0
Glock 26
Glock 19

Carry the G26 mostly but will probably start carrying the shield as it gets warmer.

Once the roster goes away, I'd like to check out a Glock 43x or Glock 48.

P365XL on macro frame

Little more recoil than a g19 but plenty fast and controllable. More accurate at 25 yards freestyle than a G19 for me (marginally like a 97/100 on B8 vs 94). Groups fine at 50 yards freestyle too

Smaller hands so macro works well for me.

Glock 45 and Staccato C2 because I hate micro guns and there’s no reason to not have a light on your gun in 2023.

Kahr PM9 in a pocket holster - as much as I like other guns on my permit, the little Kahr goes everywhere with me no matter what. Even when I stay out in the wilderness and bring other guns, PM9 is always there.

Kahr PM9 with MagGuts +1 springs/followers for 7+1 flush and 8+1 extended, with a Laser Max Laser Guard.

It disappears IWB at 4:00, even in tight bucket seats over the long haul.

Plus, it's on the stupid roster without a bunch of crap on it!

Sig P365. Everything is right for me with this firearm. The fit, the caliber and concealment. I always carry a second firearm which is a Ruger LCP.

I can only have 3 on my permit.

1. Kimber custom II 45 acp
2. M&P shield 9mm
3 M&P bodyguard 380

I used to carry a Ruger SP101 357 mag.

I want a Sig 365...if I ever get one, I'm dumping the M&P Shield.
I don't care for the thin grip. I did at first. But not now.

Take care

Of the handguns I qualified for on my permit, I shoot the Glock 26 the best but carry the Glock 43+2 for the comfort.

I like the Shield Plus, I rented a regular shield and loved the feel in hand and how it shot so decided to get a Shield Plus because of the extra capacity for when I get my CCW.

Another worthy mention would probably have to be the Defender in 45ACP, there's just something about a mini 1911 that I just love.

Sig P938 in pocket holster or Glock G30SF in AIWB. May replace the 938 with the G26 next time.

P365XL with RDS
P938 Legion
P320 X compact

I carry P365XL most of the time as I love it thin profile and I also practice with it weekly .

P365. Super easy to conceal plus 10 rounds.
Glock 26 with 15 round Freedom Week magazines when I feel it is necessary to forgo a bit in size for the additional capacity.

That's a good question. My favorite to carry everyday is my 38 LCRX because it's easy to conceal, light and simple. But it wouldn't be my first choice in the hoods, woods or a road trip. I would go with my Glock 26 or 29 for that.
