Glock 19 Gen 3 works for me. I do occasionally carry my Glock 26 Gen 3 or if I get dressed up my Glock 17 Gen 3.

My favorite, SW M&P 340. Once you try it you'll never go back.

I also have an HK P2KSK, but I really use this CCC 99% of the time.

Good choice. it is a solid handgun. Mine is my EDC.

I got the bronze version.

I would like a 4.25 inch model 1911 Colt in 9mm, maybe someday the roster goes away and I can get one - I mean new one's in a free state are $1k the only one's in CA are $2k it seems. Some day

For now the Rami serves as a great carry firearm and I am confident it will defend my life.

This is really the ideal trifecta. All sizes are covered, interchangeable mags and parts, dead reliable, easy to carry and easily replaced if used in a defensive shooting. You could probably even get away with using the same holster for all three.

All great pistols (G17,G19,G26) but probably a bit on the thick side for the avg sized person carrying IWB, no?

A little thick but not bad. I have a Shield also and while slightly easier to carry, it?s not quite as firm in the hand when drawing from a holster because of how thin the handle is. Everything is a trade-off with carry pistols. I?ve carried everything from Sig P series pistols, to HK USPs, Glocks, M&P Shields and 1911s. I?ve finally settled on Glocks as my carry pistols, they just work for me. The right holster also really helps.

Have you carried any of the off roster slim line Glocks, like the 43/43x?

Any recommendations for a good IWB G26 holster?

MIE Productions makes a holster that fits the Recover Tactical rail adapter with a variety of Olights, which are much better than the TLR-6. Just wanted to throw that out there

Yes. ( IMHO )

I have a gen2 G19. I also have a Sig SP2022. I like the sig better. But regardless, either one is too thick to be carried IWB.

My Kahr CW9 is perfect in that regard.

I carry it either Cross Draw or Shoulder Holster

No, only on-roster Gen 3 Glocks. Vedder Lightuck is a really good holster for the G26

Hi morning, going to chime in here because I carry a G19 and a 43x.

For starters, I'm below average height, about 5'7 and 165. Its not a too overweight 165 I do lift weights but its not super athletic either.

G19 used to feel thick but got used to it. I used to carry an XDS so moving to the G19 felt different for a while but you start adjusting positions and find the right spot for yourself. It is the primary carry. I use the 43x when the way i need/want to dress is more fitted, for example when I go trail biking.

I have found that I like Stealthgear Ventcore holsters. Expensive but very comfortable for me.

Good morning. I could see getting used to the thickness of the G19 vs 43x, but how about printing wise? Do you see a big difference in how much they print? Do you have to "dress around" the G19?

I usually wear tshirts. I?ve found for a thicker gun carried about 2:30 hides it well. To me this is just outside of appendix carry, some might call it appendix carry I don?t really know or care what it is lol. It works for me using a regular IWB canted holster hides it really well. Occasionally the g19 grip end might stick out but it is usually indistinguishable from a fold in the shirt to some who doesn’t know. Part of this may be due to the fact that the tshirts I wear tend to bunch up around my waist so there are a lot of existing folds.

The g43x is more flexible with positioning different places. So yes there is a difference.

For the average person, the difference between a single and double stack is not that great, but if you have wide hips like me anything more than a single stack or stagger stack is going to leave a noticeable imprint on shirts. Even with a loose fitting checkered shirt my shield still prints because of my pear shaped body.

Default Favorite CCW handgun

Right now I have on my CCW:

1) Shield 1.0
2) CZ P-01
3) CZ 2075 RAMI

If they allowed more than three, I'd add in a Sig P229 and a Glock G20sf.

I'm looking at getting a G26, G19 and a Ruger LCR if the roster stays, maybe a P365XL and few others if it goes away, so possibly may shift in the future.

Honestly, G19 over G26. The G26 is not that more concealable than a G19.

I have both and prefer the G19 90% of the time.

Most of the time, I carry my M&P Shield 9mm. Sometimes I carry my LCP .380, especially for summertime carry.

When or if I decide for a CCW, I?m going HK P2000, P2000sk and Ruger LCP or LCR 38spl. I?ve been on the fence for years, being that I drive a company supplied vehicle 95%+ of the time on and off work that wouldn?t not allow me to carry.

I've amassed some micro and subs over the years in hopes that one day I might have a CCW license. The county I reside in still has long wait times and onerous requirements.

My favorite CCW pieces would be the Glock 43, 43x, CZ Rami.

Glock 43 gets picked 80% of the time
Glock 26 next with 15%
S&W 442 is on there but rarely gets carried.
I really thought the G26 would be carried more and I love the revolver on the license but the G43 gets picked up most of the time.
