Used gun cleanup ,pics
I found a used example of a Colt SAA that I could shoot. I don’t like buying NIB
examples of collectible guns and then shooting them. See before and after.

Did you re-cut the forcing cone or was that nice forcing cone under all the crud?

I just used the Lewis Lead Removal to get the crud off. The gun was used although never fired in ACP just 45 LC but looks like only soft LEAD bullets,hence the crud. There is still a lot of lead in the barrel that I’m slowly getting out. I will be only using the 45 ACP cylinder with 230 Grain hardball( which is only ammo I’ve got .
