I recently ran my VEPR 7.62x39 in a carbine course and greatly appreciated the extra grip and stability your thumb rest added. I was easily able to do reloads and movement drills in a featureless setup. Great product!

Here are photos of my secondary AK, RAS47 (yea yea I know, impulse buy) with the thumb rest.
Glad you got a chance to run and gun with the thumb grip! What rubber grip wrap is on your SI grip?

Thanks and I just ordered another of your thumb rests for an RH10 I have coming in.

That is just some rubber grip tape I place on the SI grip. Works well.

Thanks! Your order should be delivered Saturday.

The rubber grip tape looks good I'm going to try it.

I'm interested in ordering one of these but I have the AKHAMMR Battle fin installed on mine. I"m concerned about the spacing on the grip with both of these installed. do you have any input on this?

The spacing would work( won't look as clean) ,but you might want to put the thumb grip on top of the battle fin. To be honest I would just get a strike industries AK simple grip for $10 bucks.

I really love my MFT grip but I might try to put some grooves in it for to make the battle fin flush. Which would make the thumb grip look better. I need to look at it off the rifle and see.

I just remembered my AKS-74 has a reinforcement plate which is about the same thickness of the battle fin. So it has a double spacing and I don't remember it being a problem or looking unsightly. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Edit: added pics

Would you say this thumb grip interferes with the safety if you engage or disengage it with your index finger?

I don't find that it does. I have long fingers, so that may help me.

You can still operate the safety with your index finger.

The bullet triggerguard from Carolina shooters is very much like a milled AK or a Yugo.

Yes it will fit. Like Randall said the Carolina billet trigger guard is similar to a milled/Yugo ,but it still uses a stamped receiver AKM version(universal thumb grip) just with one of the cross bars removed.

Just ordered my second AK thumb grip and wanted to throw a bump on here. These things are awesome and make the AK featureless grip FAR more comfortable. I highly recommend.
