Default Converting Sig MPX?

It seems like the CZ Scorpion's that you have been converting for 2017 CA gun laws have been really popular (and they are one of that best looking featureless conversions I have seen IMO)
So have you thought about doing a conversion for the Sig MPX Carbine? I would definately be interested in one and I'm sure I'm not the only one (and maybe you have already sold some converted MPX's??)

I hate featureless...would be interested in a fixed magazine option for Lancer-style weapons too...I have a MCX pistol...

The mpx would benefit greatly with a group buy.

Issues with mpx:

13 inch pinned and welded barrel. The labor is very high for me to drill out and then pin and weld 1 barrel. I charge about $200 for this but my pin work is very high quality. If I could pin 10 barrels at at a time I could dedicate a full day to just that process.

Flash hider. I have only welded fake suppressors that tuck under the rail. It looks just like the mpx-sd factory gun. This part is not cheap. I could pin an extension or muzzle brake but it will ruin the aesthetics. Some guys prefer cheap over looks and then complain after.

All the other work is easy. I can fix the stock and install a grip wrap.

The last mpx I converted to featureless was $2000. I don't like that price. If I can do it for $1700-1800 I think enough guys will buy at least 5 but I prefer 10.

What about packaging an MPX with a 16.25" barrel from In Lead We Trust? That would only require a thread protector and would allow the factory Sig barrel to remain as-delivered?

I see prince50 has a "fixed mag" version that may be compliant with new law. I have not converted guns yet to swing open and I do not know any CA FFLs that are accepting this type of "fixed mag" conversion. I have no problem converting this way but buyers must make sure their CA FFL will accept the gun.

Due to ever changing on the fly interpretations and pending interpretations of CA PC all guns I convert are no refund/no return/no cancellation allowed once paid in full.

I can do a group buy on MPX Carbines with Prince50 mag lock installed, stock locked, and 10/30 mag conversion for $1750 shipped USPS MO.

Hey Phil, I work at a shop called VC defense and as long as the rifle is fixed mag (upper hinges open to activate the mag release) we will accept the transfer no problem.
