POG 3533, LVS, HUMVEE, 7TON with early deployments to Iraq and more outside the wire hours than most 0would find reasonable.

Ive always found the pog vs grunt debate humerous, both are worthless without the other. Good luck kicking in doors without ammunition, grub or bandaids, good luck humping all that S in without a ride....good luck with mission accomplishment without door kickers....lets be honest though pog's can kick doors and we got pulled for it during the elections and for QRF at least half of QRF was MotorT

Never forget if you cant truck it f@$k it!

Our 11cs never left the wire, but the 13f were on every patrol with us. That means the 11c was an artilleryman and the 13f was a guy patrolling with a rifle and radioing in fire support - exact same stuff the 11b did.
!3F here.
I humped with grunts and rode with grunts. I went out whenever anyone went to the field. It was really fun when the M1 Abrams was fielded. Our 113 couldn't keep up, we had to follow dust trails and hope we could keep the tank commander in sight.

Most of us would have given our left nut to get to the rear.

I think there is one exception to the POG stigma... I am yet to meet an infantryman who thought any less of a medic

100% agreed. We loved our Corpsmans in the Corp...wether they were turds or not.

Heck even being out and working as a contractor being near Corpsmans and medics, I still got love for them!!!

We left the wire daily for 7 months but were still POG's we had it made compared to the guys who lived outside the wire.

POG's have it easy.... I used to do regular security and resupply convoys to the COP's and FOB's and those poor guys had it rough. Senior man in a couple of those COP's was a CPL....

Yea yea, bullets don't fly without supply.

You wouldn't get paid if it wasn't up to admin...
You'd have to walk everywhere...

Blah blah blah...I think everyone should be infantry first, then given the chance to go to a different MOS...

Dont even get me started on deployment dodgers!!!
There are plenty of “grunts” who are not infantry. Those lowly careerfields who are undermanned and worked in demanding conditions not behind a desk.

Pro tip: even when it's been 7 weeks since showering, hand sanitizer is never a good idea to put on your toilet paper. It feels like willy P got on your bung piece.

That’s what the wet wipes in the MRE bags were good for. Nothing like pooping in a bag, wipping with those towelets, then polishing the ol turd cutter with a MRE wet wipe.
It’s the small things that gets a warrior back in the fight feeling like a new man.
