It's funny because this is going to move California to the right more .. Most people are sane, but the current Democratic part is insane .. People will wake up over time to how insane they are, then they will be voting for other parties and even Republicans.

This ^. Fortunately I don't have to worry about voting for either of them, but if I did I would have to go for Feinstein.

She and I would agree on little if anything political. But I don't think she is insane and want's to burn the country down.

I'll vote for Feinstein because the party has gone the way of Socialism and will be a Communist party in the next few years. If Feinstein isn't left enough for them then vote for her.

If anything California will continue to go farther left up and to the point of openly embracing Socialism as a campaign platform.

Many years ago I voted for term limits to get rid of Willie Brown as speaker of the assembly. The unintended consequence he became Mayor of San Francisco where I was living at the time. His opponent for his second term was Tom Amiano. I ended up going to Willie Brown fundraisers and voting for him.

Careful what you wish for it may come true.

I HAVE to vote in order to cast a ballot for Cox against Newsom. May as well vote for the evil I know (DiFi) vs The Anchor Baby.

45% to 22% in the polls, and they are pretty solid. Leon is done.

Because DeLeon's career will be boned if he loses.
Vote for Fineswine. This is binary, one or zero. Pure logic.
Burn DeLeon for good.

Both are so terrible as to not be deserving of any sort of vote. I'm just going to leave that race blank.

Deleon being such a major douche could be good.
- Remove fineswine with out her being able to name her replacement ( her mini me daughter Catherine )
- solidify the democaratic party as the party of complete morons and anchor babies
- create enough backlash that a moderate republican can take the seat in 6 years.
At this point I'm voting for Leon .... it will split the decomraps in half

No, he will be appointed to some obscure board with an inflated salary by the far-left demoncrats until the next election when, like the Phoenix, he will arise from the ashes.

-I doubt her replacement would be as bad as Leon.

- The dem party is already solidified as the party of morons etc...

-I could be wrong but I just don't see a Republican winning due to the voting system, fraud, state media, voting age anchor babies and the general stupidity of the populous.

-I don't believe this one seat will split the dems in half. It's obvious where the party is headed.

The issue is , her anointed replacement will be unable to be unseated . We have a chance right now to break the chain . De Leon will tank himself and will do nothing in the senate. his base will become un motivated and disengage (a la Obama ) this coupled with the pending scotus supermajority , and moderate democrap alienation ( #walkaway ), Economic geographic shifts to memphis, Austin, Portland ,Boise, Omaha and other metroish areas pulling tech money out of ca
We have a serious chance to swing the tide . Think of it like this ... it like a tug of war game where you are loosing , do you get pulled in to the mud one by one or do you all let go at once and let the other team fall on their azzes and you pick the rope back up and easily pull the ones remaining

I'm not sure I will be able to vote for either one.

I've voted against Feinstein when she ran for Governor and against every one of her Senatorial runs. I'm dubious I can break that string at this point.

For those suggesting a vote for DeLeon to get him out of the State and he would be a junior senator, weren't those the very same arguments posed in support of voting for Kamala Harris?

Talk about your lose-lose proposition.

The ONLY thing that MIGHT cause me to vote for Feinstein, if I vote for either, is...

I'm all for making her the Governor.

I'm inclined to let the commies pick their own leaders. I'll probably leave the senate choice blank. That's my "none of the above are acceptable" vote.

When I vote I often check the box "pick candidates along party lines". If I were still in CA I would never vote for D. Frankenstein instigator of the first California AWB after the Stockton school shooting

It is the choice of the lesser of two evils. The idea of letting Deleon in to fail is ludicrous. Once in office as a Democrat in this state, he is in for life. Most voters here are just Democrat sheep. Deleon has tried to push through more anti-gun legislation than just about anyone in the state legislature. Why make him one of 100 powerful Federal legislators with the ability to vote on Supreme Court and Appeals Court justices for the next 25 years?

Should California shift to the right by some miracle, Feinstein is old and will retire or pass away sooner.

A Democrat unfriendly to the 2nd Amendment is going to get the seat either way.

Decide whether you want the old lady who's pretty much a spent force, or the young guy who's going to try to make a name for himself.

Easy choice.

Vote Feinstein.

i think i will sit this one out. I have never voted for Feinstein and can't vote for her opponent. This is a true give me liberty or give me death situation when many would rather die than have to make this decision. The only losers will be liberty and freedom and the American way.

His real name is Kevin Leon.
His father race was Chinese born in Guatemala. His mother was also born in Guatemala.
He states he identifies as a Mexican. Funny most Mexicans I know hate Guatemalans.
What’s the difference: an old idiot vs a young idiot?

The young idiot is termed out in Sacramento. He's done in the state senate this year. He can't run for assembly.
He didn't run for controller, treasurer, or Governor... If he doesn't win against Dianne, he becomes irrelevant and out of the media spotlight. He's GONE from politics unless he run for LA City Council or the County Board of Supervisors.

Newsom does not like Leon. If Dianne wins, and then dies in office, Leon will NOT be her replacement.

This is my reasoning. DF has a lot of seniority, but she is a semi senile dingbat. She will be less effective and will not become a media darling like some Sandinista types have become.

I agree.

All I can do is laugh at the situation. DF used to be the Democrats Poster Senior... now they throw her out like yesterdays news... actually kind of sad. Republicans didn't do that to McCain as he morphed into a RINO.

If my only choices are DF or Mr. illiterate 30 Cal Magazine clip, it's going to be DF.
