Gavin is such a narcissist it would crush him. In fact just the movement being started is eating him alive. That right there is worth it to me.

I'm getting it from California state law. Here's an article.

The presidency is not a California state office. California state law does not apply.

I was at the LGS today doing a pickup, and in the short time I was there, at least five different groups of people came in, in twos or threes, just to sign the petition. Women, men, old, young - it was awesome to see.

That online petition is meaningless. If you want to recall Governor Newsom, get out a sign a real petition.

Up north every gun store has them and so do the sporting goods stores but they do not advertise it openly. This is a kind of underground grassroots recall and it is word of mouth. I saw several come into Sportsman and ask at the gun counter and the front counter and were pointed to a guy doing the petitions. this is touchy for people who depend on guns but they want you to sign. So just call and ask and you will find someone.

RifleGear in Fountain Valley has petitions available. Apparently, somebody dropped off a ton in-store and the staff is now accommodating signatures.

Good excuse to get down there and buy something firearms related.

Signed at Elite Armory in Castro Valley; Solar Tactical didn't have any more to sign, said they will have more on Tuesday.

Fast, easy, and doesn’t count. Must sign in person, ink to paper.

Hello folks it's been a little while since I'd been here...so, I wanted to post a link to a map where you can find EVERY single SIGNING location in the entire state of California. The only reason a location would not be on this map is because someone Just spontaneously created an event the day before, but for the most part people are submitting their locations to the person who is updating this map, and you can find places to sign all throughout California. This is only for the #RANAF , Erin Cruz Petition, The 1st petition that was approved by the CA Secretary of State. Anyway here is the map link and just click on the Box had says find my location and the map should open by using a locator device that is connected to where you are so the part of the state youre in should open, But of course you can float around and searched the whole state. Right now the map is covered with dots which is awesome it means there's tons of locations all over the place...!!!
Please tell friends and others about this map because the number one question is always Hey where do I find a place to sign near me? So this map will definitely solve that problem.

Hmm...is this effort different then https://recallnewsom.us/ ? If so, we're doomed in that each drive will probably get half the signatures it probably deserves. I happen to be collecting signatures for https://recallnewsom.us/ not realizing there were 2 different efforts going on...

Yes, they are separate efforts. No need for them Dems to divide us, we'll divide ourselves.....just like the election.

What makes one petition better than the other since they would accomplish the same goal of getting the recall going? Shouldn't those 2 groups talk to make sure there's only 1 drive going on? Otherwise, people are thinking they signed "the" petition, but there's 2.

I downloaded the one I downloaded to start collecting, but didn't realize there were 2 efforts until I saw this post.

newsom is desperate to divide us and we have to be determined enough to sign one or both if need be. If it says recall Newsom, is on the right size paper and is sitting on the counter of place i feel i can trust I am going to sign it. Let the state nullify signatures and then we can tie them up on that issue since both petitions are for the same goal. we need to do whatever is necessary to get this on the ballot. Notice that state and local governments got paid for fires but nothing so far for people who lost everything. typical newsom behavior. you don't count until tax time and your gun rights are history next year. he can't afford an army of really irritated citizens.

Looks like I'll have to do a bit of driving to get to the .us version... other one is done.

Oddly enough, the shop I went to for the non-us version was pretty explicit on how to ensure the signature was valid; stay way in the lines and print carefully.

I also found a retired deputy at my grocery store with a sign up sheet after signing else where. It wasn't clear which version his was.

The https://recallnewsom.us/ petition has a version that can be printed on regular letter sized paper, no need to drive anywhere if you can print your own at home.

Bump and a thank to LaurenC and others / all who have at least tried to engage on this recall effort. As possibly unsuccessful or pointlessly wasted you may think it is, there is never a time when doing nothing is a better answer than at least voicing your opposition.

This recall is backed by more than the gun community and is nice to see people who would have very different views on some topics agreeing about the need to remove the current Governor.

We can sign both petitions just to be safe, although the one with the US Letter-sized paper is far more convenient to print at home, fill out, and mail.

Just need a sheet of US Legal paper from work to do the other one.

A SPECIAL THANKS needs to go out to every californian who signed a recall petition sheet on the governor and if nothing else it put him on notice that while the democrats might control the government the people are still alive and protesting. if someone put out a "I Signed the Recall Petition on the Governor Newsom" tee shirt it would sell like crazy. Probably have a lot of democrats buying them

I think more than enough signatures have been gathered, but his cronies in Sacramento is covering for him and trying to keep the recall from going through. I don't trust any of our officials to do their job honestly and with integrity.

Please let us know where to sign petitions for ousting Becerra and a donation jar to stick a few bucks in. It needs more media exposure especially in northern california. Ask gun shops to post a sign saying they have petitions to sign.
