He wants to know what they are. The story is that these were captured in Viet Nam. Apparently the officers got them and were also arguing of a Thompson, too. I cannot verify the story .All I know is these never came back with the man who took the pik. Thanks.

Those RPD's were a dream for machine gun owners back in the day. A belt fed that doesn't recoil too much and shoots ammo that was 90 bucks per thousand. Plus the way the belts worked, they stayed together in 25 or 50 round segments so you didn't have to crawl around picking up individual links.
