Default Esty Breaching Mini Pry Bar by Phase 5

How’s it going guys and gals. Just wanted to share with you a new tool I came across on amazon. I dont know how many pry tools I have purchased over the years from different stores in search of one that was sleek, but strong, yet small and light. After going to Home Depot, Lowes, ACE and many others over the years only to come home and take them to my bench grinder I never found/ made one that worked perfect for me. While on amazon I recentely stumbled upon one and it has been phenomenal. I thought I would share on this site.

Default Esty Breaching Mini Pry Bar for everyday patrol carry

As a guy who carries a pry bar in his duty bag, I love the concept. Putting one more thing on my belt or carrier is only an option if it were light enough. This tool, while great in concept, is made of very heavy steel.

This should’ve been a Titanium product if they thought it’d be a decent belt tool.

I currently use a round bar that slides through the molle on my gear bag. The pry hook keeps it from sliding through. The weight and length keep it in place.

I’ve been contemplating switching to a Stiletto Ti pry bar. Just have to justify the cost.

He makes legit stuff. Breaching is his shtick and he does a great job at it. I've seen a lot of his breaching tools in action and it's quite impressive.

Not to mention that the man is an absolute mountain.

It actually fits perfectly on your duty belt.

I'll probably get one down the road after I break my other pry bars.

You should’ve mentioned these were made by Phase5! Are they Ken’s design, or someone else?

Phase 5 is a top notch company. I respect them immensely.

Someone else. Sgt. Esty, hence the name. Hehheh. I’m not sure if they did a joint effort. I just know that breaching has always been his thing and he’s very good at it. Haha.

I thought the same, my guess is price on a titanium pry bar would have probably been way to high. I already was skeptical at $30 but after receiving and putting it to use was well worth the $30 spent. Not to bad in weight either at 5.77 oz its pretty light weight.

Thanks! maybe I'll have to buy a few more things since I'll be ordering from Phase 5 anyway, right?
