Default A nice reminder that the IRS is BS

The movie we’re living will end when the People wake up and refuse to comply.

(This is not uniquely applicable to guns obviously, but I didn’t know where else to share it)

Yeah, I've personally seen a few people lose this argument in Federal Court. Nice to see it coming around again.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

The 16th and 17th amendments were both "passed" fraudulently, very much like the 2020 election. Feds simply said they passed and nobody was allowed to investigate or challenge it. More Treason from Woodrow Wilson.

Im sure there is no law on it, just a bull**** mandate that society accepted as the right thing to do during the civil war to finance the war effort. Never let a tragedy go waste they say. They are doing the same thing now with Covid and vaccine mandates. Vaccine mandates will go down in history as the successor to taxes. Death, taxes, and vaccines will set you "free."

Most laws in this country are lies. Intended for nothing more than to further the government power. The 16th amendment is a perfect example. The amount of money that all of us get taxed is literally predatory.

Taxes can do three things:

Raise funds for Govt programs.

Discourage behaviors ("Sin Taxes").

Make Work for govt workers and tax accountants.

Currently Gainful Employment is being hit with Sin Tax levels of "discourage behavior". I can't count how many times co-workers have refused to work (HIGHER PAY) overtime because "It all goes to tax". I try and fail to point out that "not really, it all totals at the end of the year, etc" and I've told the boss to have payroll bend the law and nothing will happen if deductions don't jump that week.
One of the sound reasons for full time stay at home moms and housewives was "2nd income will mostly just increase tax rate".

US Govt including States are now funded almost entirely by printing money (Feds print and send to States who send to Counties) so there is no valid reason to go through big "Income Tax". Inflation is how US Govt taxes by printing money, which AFAIK could be an OK way to run a nation they just need to be open and honest about it.

The great dilemma. We create government to protect us from each other then we find ourselves searching for someone to protect us from the government we created.

I feel well qualified having retired from both the military and civil service. Thank you.

Agreed! I just got a $1000 bonus on my check and only netted about $270.

Guess I am working for 27 cents on the dollar.

You can pretend that the IRS doesn't have the power of the government behind it but do so at your own peril.

This year I owe nothing and paid nothing because my income was all long term gains and I really limited how much I took out.

I'm feelin' this win pretty hard.

My donation is currently at 1% due to the recent raid on the economy by the current regime.

I'm not sure how you you would be taxed down to 27% percent with only dumping 1% into a 401k. I put in 15% to 401k and still have around 41% take home after taxes. I claim 0 or 1 for withholdings as well.

Are you being garnished? Do you have them take out additional taxes to offset some other income?

This was on the extra $1k quarterly performance bonus about amount compared to previous week at same hours worked.

No garnishments, claim zero (only additional amount for offset) , medical deductions, tithe, etc. 401K at 1% even though company match to 3%.

On a side note, Biden's promise of no additional taxes to those making under $440K a year is such a lie. Just like anything out of his mouth.
