Default I drew 2 bucks, 4 doe, 4 turkey, and a bear tag!

Well... didn't really draw anything. I just bought yearly hunt/fish license in Tennessee and you get all that stuff.

That’s awesome man. Me and the wife have been looking at Tennessee, she liked the Madisonville area.

It's ridiculously beautiful down there, but really the whole state is beautiful... all pretty much looks the same. You'd be about 150 miles south of me. I'm not going to lie, it rains out here... in the summer. The humidity in the afternoon can be a little off-putting but you just kind of work around it. It's not THAT bad. Everything else makes up for it. No smoke guys... just lots of green.

This is on my property.

Are systems configured differently there to take the humidity into account?

What about public land for hunting?
Also, how is duck hunting there?

All new to me Boarhunter, give me a year and I'll let you know everything I've learned. From what I gather, a lot more public land than Texas, a lot less than the western states.

You should plan a waterfowl hunt on Reelfoot Lake.

There are lots of deer in the east. There's not much in the way of public land. IIRC either you buy some land or arrange a hunting lease or make lots of friends.

I know a fellow in northeastern Pennsylvania who has a few acres and would almost certainly allow me to hunt there. Getting a tag would be no problem. The state is overrun with deer.

Maybe in a year or two.

Ignore the date/time... from about 6:38 yesterday morning. Lower part of my property. Going to set up a blind or stand tomorrow probably a ground blind. My shoulder is jacked and I can barely draw my 65lb Hoyt but I'll try. If I can't get it back quietly enough I may get a crossbow, they are legal here in Archery season.

Yeah aren't over-the-counter tags great? I can get an elk tag over the counter at this moment, but I am a novice hunter and am just learning the ropes. Just stalked an elk herd for the first time with my cousin yesterday. He was pissed because we didn't find them but I was stoked.
