Default Colt Anaconda is back

I'm torn since Colt pissed me off but I really like these.

So you're saying search still doesn't work? Searched Anaconda and nothing came up.

Can I play doctor?

Why do you like the anaconda in 44 mag?
Why do you want this vs all the other 44 mags on the market?

How is the finish on this vs the old ones?

Will you shoot it or just Polish it?

The hype over the new ones amuses me, because I don't recall the originals being held in very high regard at the time.

How can the Anaconda be back when the manufacturer says “Out of Stock”?

It’s probably out of stock at that price, but will be in stock soon around the country for double MSRP. It’s fine if people are willing to pay that, but I’ll just wait until the price settles.

This. I bought a new King Cobra in 1998 and it was a POS. Ruined me on Colts until I discovered Pythons and SAAs a decade later.

It hasn't made the roster yet but it probably will as the new Cobra, King Cobra and Python have.

That 6" is nice, but I'm holding out for a S&W performance center 5" at those prices...

I sold my 6” years ago to cover the down payment on our home. I really enjoyed that gun and it’s a great hunting side arm. Replacement price has been astronomical and they are very hard to find PPT so yes, the option of buying one at $1500 is rather attractive to me.

It still has the "it" factor. I don't think a PPPK/S is going to be a great shooter, but I still want one...

If they made the 3" Python again, Colt would sell a 50 a day!
