Default Planning a clean up at Hodge (need advice)

I expect it to be really hot so I'm trying to go on a weekday arriving as soon as there is daylight 5am-ish. What tools should I bring that would help me be efficient while i'm out there. I have a pick up so I dont mind tugging out tires, wood, odd ball trash aside from brass and shotgun hulls.

Also where would I even dump the trash off and will I get charged a lot for a bed full of trash? I live in La Puente so if you guys know of any sites that would accept whatever dump I bring back please name drop a spot or two nearby. Last thing whats the traffic like coming back, planning to leave by noon when it gets hottest.

To hot now. Bring a coal shovel to pick up larger amounts for bagging.

So let's try to answer a couple of questions you asked as opposed to offering unsolicited advice.
Square style shovel, trash bags, gloves and lots of water at a minimum.
A single pickup truck will fill quickly.

As for dumping, you might check with the ranger stations for input.

Also, i might be able to go with enough notice.
Send me a pm as you plan this.
Two trucks are better than one, or so i am told.

filled my truck in under 3hrs... sad to report that i didnt see any difference i made as the place looks like a literal dump right now. Pathetic how many irresponsible gun owners there are that take furniture, tvs, computers, stuffed animals, etc. and leave it there. Like what do you get from putting a bullet through a computer. a $2 watermelon or some steel plates goes a long ways for entertainment. I am thankful for the cloudy day as it blocked the sun, i was in by 5am and out by 930am. Im too old for this, i got an entire lower body workout lol
