I might be bringing my boss from work. He is a gun newb and wants to shoot. I'll be sure to give him the gun safety rundown before we commence fire.

I told him about the last shoot we had with the zombie theme. He thought it was a bunch of rednecks in the woods blowing stuff up, i said it was kinda like that, but without the woods, lol.

I have only been to a few other meets/shoots, a while back at Chabot for a meet and greet BBQ shoot thing, J&R Guns in Livermore had their customer appreciation day (I won the raffle for the Daniel Defense Omega carbine rail), and the last zombie shoot out at Tumney Hills. I can say, every event i have attended has been outstanding! You cant beat the group of guys who come out to the events, the guys who put it on, and the guys who volunteer their time and own money to make this site what it is. And we get to shoot, what else could you ask for? Well maybe naked chicks serving pizza and beer, hey a man can dream cant he? lol.

Ha ha, I am a Redneck. If yall knew about American History yall would've known that a Redneck is or was a good term to be. I might of been born outside this country, but I was born an American. I might like my guns and freedoms here, so go ahead call me a Redneck Beats being a d-bag trying to rule every aspect of someone elses life

Now let's get this party planned and get some locations drawn up so we know whereabouts and when to be out there

I might have to drag Mike out there with me. Maybe we'll end up camping in seperate tents depending on his schedule. I still need to pick up my firearms. Might break down and buy 10 round mags for my M&P. Still feeling the snap from the Raging Bull Bob handed me. Sounds like enough Taxxxxite to spread some VD joy.

Just remember, the pinatas will make a mess. Lets not leave the grounds like some people did at the zombie shoot. Not fair for a few guys to spend 3 hours cleaning up after the ones who left their trash. Just an FYI, not trying to sounds like a hard ***** or a garbage nazi, lol.

You ******* garbage nazi!

That's the problem with shoots is that people leave early and don't clean up their crap. The problem at the zombie shoot was that a lot of people kept shooting till it got dark and then cleaned up. Me and the birthday boy cleaned up all our **** before it got dark so when it was dark all we had to pick up was our brass.

Ha ha, I remember that, it was all good. Even though I did clean up a lot of crap that was not mine either. I think the ones that stayed the night got screwed the next morning though

Anyways will have to come up with some kind of timing session and or time slots to shoot and clean, eat, shoot, clean, shoot and clean before the sun goes down

You're concern is really appreciated. But Pinatas turn to confetti and decompose quickly and not really noticable. That is why we use them. Not at all like the catalog pages that were scattered for 300 yds at the Zombie shoot. I know, I was one of the few (2) guys....The other, SJgunguy, Will probably accompany me to this shoot. He's AK crazy and I'm AR nuts.... Combined we're nutt an crazy.

The car probably would not be a good idea. The fluids would have to be drained, Fuel tank and Carb. removed and lines cleared. And the Rangers most likely would not like it anyways. There is already a car there. If you feel the need to blast one. I'll show you it's location and we can unload.

I see we have a T virgin and someones' boss coming too. No protection is allowed for the virgin and I can only hope the boss is on good terms with their employee.

5 cases of tannerite is not that much. We've had 10 cases and it still went home empty. Bring as much as you can get. This is a birthday blast.
We need to make a big bang. Bigger than this...

Heres 7 lbs at 300 yds hit with a 419 Barrett:
http://s270.photobucket.com/albums/j...a419Barett.flv

Bear in mind that I did NOT post a video. It is a LINK to a video. Just taking advantage of a technicality as I was taught to on this site. (Like the BB or an FFL renaming an MP5 to an MP5-A)

You're welcome. We kinda thought it was our responsibility in order to keep the CG rep. decent with the Rangers at Turney Hills. They were really cool to allow the zombie shoot without the purchase a permit. Too bad we were set up at the wrong spot.... The planned place was further down the road. And was even nicer. Without the devoured sheep. Mike discovered it on Sunday.

Definition...DEVOURED (Munched,Chowed,Eaten,Chewed.) In other words... Purina Coyote Chow. Some were nearly fresh kills. Still had the wool. We must have found 6 skulls while cleaning up. If you camp at turney, Be prepared for a visit from the pack.

I mainly load 9mm and I am going to start doing .223 very soon. Need to get word from the vendor as to whether or not I can get some pulled M193 bullets for 5.4 cents shipped or not. I placed an order and it got kicked back due to it being backordered. I mainly plink so I do not really care about 3MOA or 4MOA Center Mass is good enough for them zombies out there!

This time....can we keep the T-bombs about 25 yards away at a minimum? Last time I was getting hit with rocks and plastic pieces when they exploded about 6 feet from the firing line.

Anyone bringing a shot timer? Saw the videos of knucklehead and sorrenson from one of the last meets. Maybe get an AR vs. AK showdown for fun.

I'm going to try make it to the shoot. It will be me +2 driving from east bay. What's everyones opinion on clay pigeon shooting out there and clean up of them. Are they biodegradable or just pick up the big pieces.

I think there are people pigeon shooting every time. Just have to pick a spot and a direction not near everyone else. Cleanup is your choice. I'm not sure how fast the biodegradable pigeons degrade.

I think it's something like 2 years under normal conditions.

so would the BLM be mad about them sitting out there or are we going to do the Calgun thing and pick up as many of the big pieces as we can and take them with us?

I think it would be prudent to clean up as much as we can.
