Default Caligula- You are famous :)

Cali-gula was quoted in this piece on SFGATE:

https://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/artic...p?t=5ec5dc95b9

It is 3 paragraphs before the picture of the guy from Coyote Point.

Wow, filled with some genuine facts.
Way more than other mainstream articles I have read.

Also, good job Cali-Gula!

"For one week, high-capacity ammunition magazines were legal in California. Hundreds of thousands may have been sold"

Fifty-Hundred thousand?

Frome the article,

Quote:
"“Buy lots more ammo ... or more high-capacity magazines before the 9th puts their filthy fingers into it,” one commenter wrote, referring to the Court of Appeals."

From CALI-gula,

Quote:
"Hmm... confounded, conflicted. Buy lots more ammo before 7/1/2019, or more high-capacity magazines before the 9th puts their filthy fingers into it?"

That may have been the most fair article on an issue that involved guns this state has ever seen! The writer presented the story with facts and included some quotes from both sides and was able to report rather than shove an agenda down the reader's throat.

What was this? Could this be real?

But, seriously, kudos to the writer for doing the job of reporting. An amazing thing these days.

When was the last article involving guns that didn't butcher nearly all the facts and technical details etc?!!!

Besides the gabby Giffords shooting, when else was there a mass shooting stopped by the shooter needing to reload?

Holy cow, that's hilarious!

Thanks for the heads up. Funny, funny stuff, but every bit true.

Just thought of something though; it goes to show they are here, reading every little post and minutiae of Calguns as it happens, and taking it all in.

When we suspect the other side and the 'progressive' journalists are here for their tour de farce, it's not just ESP.

Only the deaths of small children attributable to rounds 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, etc... anything after the arbitrary 10 round limit is fuel for the narrative.

Never mind the Florida psycho using ten rounders because they fit in his bag. Everyone knows hows few people he killed due to the limited capacity of his magazines.

Or Seung-Hui Cho at Virginia Tech,

Elliot Rodger in Isla Vista (who I may add killed 3 people that day with a KNIFE and 3 people with a gun, with a manifesto where he opined he could kill a lot more people with the family SUV or his car).

Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik in San Bernardino

...among others. Those are just the more notorious 10-rounder sprees that come to mind.

Oh and someone used a truck in Nice, France to kill 80 people, no high-capacity magazines applicable.

Maybe if they stay here long enough and read enough they will eventually understand the difference between a magazine, a clip, a cartridge and a bullet. With luck, they may even learn the difference between a semi-auto and a machine gun. They may also discover that we are just as much, if not more, opposed to unlawful gun violence than they are. The difference is that instead of being willing to rely on unworkable and ineffective "reasonable gun regulations" we want to be able to rely on the firearm that we are carrying and the ones we have at home, to thwart such violence, without stupid limitations that make our guns less effective to combat these unlawful attacks on ourselves, our families and those innocent persons who may also be present. Of course, it is doubtful that they will learn anything.

I thought the article clearly had a leftist tint to it, but I'm not surprised. The point that I'm at right now, is positive or not I could care less about the "press" we get. As far as I'm concerned my guns are my rights and none of your business. You can vote until your blue in the face, but you will never abolish the 2nd amendment and with Trump appointing conservatives, any bills they pass will get struck down with impunity.

The liberals started this long ago with their unconstitutional BS, and it's all going to unravel. 20 years of Tyranny blown to bits in one week? Think about that for a second and what it means to their house of cards.

I say we get constitutional carry from SCOTUS this year or next, and I think we're going to win this one at the 9th.

Thank your neighbor and fellow gun owners for passing Prop 63. For that gun control is a winning legislative agenda.

Good article by Matthias Gafni I like how he ended with facts supporting the 2A he actually presented the reader with a date I say “Fair and Balanced” article.

I hope SF Gate doesn’t try to fire him or shame him into giving his Pulitzer back! LOL!

LOL, like calling an ar-15 a "deadly assault rifle capable of fully semi-automatic firing."

Found that interesting too. Like they intentionally carved out the 'before 7/1/2019' to avoid indicating the deadline for background-check free ammo purchases. Disrupts the context. Asshat journalists.
