Default 10th St Range in SJ closing at end of 2019
Just got word the 10th St range in SJ is closing at the end of 2019 due to the end of the lease with the City of SJ. They are paving the way for expansions to the nearby ice rink that were mentioned earlier in 2018:

Apparently this closure is not overtly anti-2A since the SJ Giants are also losing their lease to make way for this development, but I doubt anyone in SJ cried much about the decision to close a gun range.

I don't know if there is any further official info out there, but the SCVRC is looking for help to relocate/store their club equipment once their facility closes. http://www.scvrc.com/

Yeah, they received their 360-day lease termination paperwork apparently, timed perfectly for end of 2019.

Who was it issued to (which mc) and I will have the club reps reach out? I attend the Alameda County Members Council and the info hasn't spread to there yet.

Santa Clara County. One of the members is a part of the club and sent out an advisory earlier this month.

If there is new information, please share, as this is of general interest to all who are local, imho. There shouldn't be any secrets with stuff like this going on.

We're all on the same side.

Sorry to hear that.

On a brighter note, the Simi Valley range which opened about a year or two ago is going strong.
It opened in an area where several previous applications for a range were rejected in the past decade.
