Default Couldn’t resist ... two more 10/22s in jail

I saw Big 5 Sporting goods had 10/22s on sale for $239. I was about to buy a pair of them but decided last minute... eh never mind.
Then a week passed...

I was at Reeds indoor range in Santa Clara last night. Paid, visited the bathroom and there is an ad taped up over the urinal ... 10/22 with bonus lasermax laser attached $229... hmm maybe just take a look ... ok maybe start drops... now I’ll have 4 10/22s. But the first two don’t counts as they are takedowns.

That was an expensive bathroom stop!

Congrats!

Now (if you haven't already), start buying extra factory Ruger 10rd mags.

Here's something to keep your "extra" mags in. It holds 18 mags. I have 4 of these boxes , 2 for me and 2 for Calamity. They work perfectly. I pre-load the mags before going to the range. They fit very nicely in my range bag. Plus, Calamity almost always has a Joanne's 50% off any one item coupon.

PS: Here's help finding the magazines at a good price. I've bought a few on Ebay when they've had flash sales and also Grabagun when they go on sale.

Ooo when does the sale go until? If it's the stainless model I might have to visit Reed's soon...

Well done!
And so kindly considerate of you, because just like dogs, 10/22s are happiest in a group.

Ruger 10/22 has about 20 difference models, you still have 16 more to go Hahahahahaha. Anyway, I had 2 for myself.
Take a look at TALO version with engraves stock of Alligator, Hog, Tiger, Eagle ….

I sprung for the Kidd 22. Figured it would be better to have one 10 than five 2's.

This is one of your best recommendations. I keep mine in the safe and only take a few mags to the range as I'm not a high-volume shooter like yourself.

We take all 72 pre-loaded, four boxes, and we usually end up loading an additional 30 or so. A lot depends upon the weather.

I didn't even know there was a maglula for 10/22 magazines!

I'm picking them up today. Not sure how I'll sneak them by the wife. A couple of years ago, I bought a pair of Daisy Red Ryders for my girls (they were 8 at the time) and my wife had a "talk" about it. Sheesh. Now hmmm... well, I guess these are for me. I mean, what man doesn't need 6 .22 rifles? (One Marlin 795, one CZ American 455, two take down 10/22s and now these two "regular" 10/22s)....

I guess they'll be in the trunk until she goes to sleep them I'll cram them in the overflowing .22/air rifle safe.

I have the pre ban BX25 round mags and love them, so far no issues.
