I wanted to go, but the thought of getting infected by Coronavirus scared me off.

Yea, I was slightly concerned as well, but the staff at LAX manage it well and we were able to maintain the social distancing requirements.

Why is Chad shown in 3rd when he has the better score?

I think the listing is just the raw results and not necessarily indicative of placement.

Thanks for sharing the scores Chad! Not sure if I can make the next one, we'll see.. Do you know when they might be dishing out the swag?

In talking with Raul at the last match they were talking about having a fourth get together where they do all the giveaways, and give out the plaques. They didn't mention a date though.

Default What do you do in quarantine?

I had the time, so I went ahead and formulated my best guess at the results based on the last two matches for anyone that is interested.

G26 shouldn't be in the pocket glock division. It is listed in the GSSF indoor rules that pocket glocks are G42 and G43.

Yup, I mentioned it to Raul when the results of the first match were published, but I am not sure how they're going to reconcile it. However, unless he comes out to match next Saturday he won't have two scores, so it won't really matter in the final.

Thanks Chad! As a tip on the spreadsheet, you can do another column (e.g. G) with =sum(d2:f2)/count(d2:f2). That'll give you an average based on the number of entries. (have to make sure all the scores are numbers vs text).

Best 2 of 3 on the other hand is beyond my spreadsheet skills.... but I guess I can always google it..

ok, I had time too.. So you would do a formula: (LARGE (d2:f2,1)+LARGE (d2:f2,2))/2

So this finds the largest number (,1) in the range, add the second largest number (,2) and then divide by 2..

This why I ended up deciding to do it by hand. That and there were not a lot of records to deal with.

Thanks for the lead. I tweaked the formula [=IFError((LARGE(D2:F2,1)+LARGE(D2:F2,2))/2,"-")] slightly, but it works well.

What a great turnout for the last match. Good to see fellow shooters out and everyone had their masks on, too. Now, I wished I had shot the second match. Had a great time, looking forward to see the final results. Big thanks to LAX range staff for hosting the event and to Chad for keeping us up with the results.

or just use =avg(d2:f2) and not have to do two functions.

Wasnt able to go yesterday, sounds like the turnout was good. Maybe I’ll drop to a B1 position.

Thanks, and it wasn't me this time. I shared it with the fine Gentlemen of LAX, and granted them edit access to make things a little easier for them.

FINAL RESULTS

Per Raul, the awards (including G19) and Range Day will be taking place on 05/09/2020 @ 7AM. I hope to see everyone there.

Thanks @Chad! “Range day” is that a complimentary (no fee) range time? Also is it restricted to glocks?

Curious, why didn't I get an email from GSSF? Maybe it goes to the spam folder? Bummer on missing this one

Default Congratulations to all the winners!

A special thanks to Raul and the Team at LAX for hosting another great GSSF Indoor League and giving those who could make it some bonus practice hours on the range. Looking forward to the next one!
