Default Boca Reservoir

Iíve heard there is a shooting range near Boca Reservoir, has anyone been out there this year ? I read somewhere that they donít plow the road that goes out there. Was thinking of checking it out next time I head up to Tahoe. Is it an official range or just a place people frequently shoot at? What sort of distances can you get ? Any tables or anything like that ?

Call the Truckee Ranger District
(530) 587-3558 for the latest information.
This is where you pick up the key for the gate too.
No tables and distances were at least 50 yards plus depending on that area you choose.
It's not that far off the paved road and used by some kind of mining/gravel trucks. I don't know if they plow for snow or not.

Key is best. Long walk carrying lead ! Ranger ladies were very helpful.
