Decibullz earplugs
Does anyone have any experience with decibullz earplugs, I have walker razors but I don’t always want to wear ear muffs, I saw the decibullz on amazon and they have good reviews was just wondering if anyone on here has used them before or have other recommendations.

I picked up a pair earlier today. I like my Howard Leighton over the ear muffs but sometimes want an in the ear plug while shooting outside. For indoor ranges, I’ll wear both.

I have some. I prefer good foamies.
The Decibulz are hard-ish plastic and hurt my ears after a full day of shooting. (I double up with MSA Sordins, I need good hearing for my job). YMMV, I may just be a wuss with sensitive ears...

I have the blue becibulz w foam plugs and they're my go to for last two years. I wear them inside and outside now. Way cooler than my Howard leights and even have the insert to unplug if you want to hear someone talk.

I have been using the blue moldable ones for a while. They are pretty good with the foam plug versus the silicone. After a long match day though, they don't work as well as at the beginning.
For rifle shooting or trap/clays I will wear them. For a pistol match I wear them and may or may not switch to muffs later in the day. I will say that when I RO, electronic muffs are much better |

These are the only ear protection we actually carry in the store, for the price I really like them. I use them indoor and outdoor and they work great. I really like my reactive ones but they are a little pricey compared to the others. I had to remold mine a few times to get them to fit perfect but now they're great

These are my go-to plugs.
I got a good mold on my first try and have no issues wearing them for all day classes. I use the foam tips for the best seal/protection and comfort. I also have a pair of Howard Leights over-the-ear with audio, but I wear glasses and never get a good seal or one that's comfortable with those or any over-the-ear really. For the price, I think they're great |

Just got mine today. Put on the smallest tip that goes in the ear and the outside cap. Boil water (5 mins in microwave). Take water out of micro and drop in ONE earplug. Remove after 5 mins with metal spoon. Let cool for 30 seconds. Push earplug in and start molding putty in the bowl of your ear. Move ear around and push at different angles. Open and close your mouth. Once in, let sit for 5 mins. Keep it in while you work on the other side. Reboil water (2-3 mins), remove from micro and insert ONE earplug. Follow the same steps.
The putty went over the end cap a little which should hold it in place. They seem good but we’ll see how they do while hunting. Definitely good for the airplane, yard work, etc. |

I got a free pair at SHOT Show earlier this year. They're fine with pistol, but when you shoot centerfire rifle, I feel like they aren't all that great especially when shooting under any sort of overhead cover. I just stick with the Moldex "Spark Plugs" I get off Amazon for ~$35 per 200 pairs. Seals great

I ran mine over a 3 day weekend at Front Sight, shooting full auto uzis. I ran the ones that are adaptive so you can talk but the shots are muffled. At no time did I think they were too loud, and I could hold a conversation with the guys that had electronic ears. Except the guy who's batteries died, I could hear him but he couldn't hear me lol. All in all, definitely my go to

They work very well, I use the version without the lining cord for riding my motorcycle. I was the guy in charge of supply ordering on my last deployment, we were loading patients into planes with the engines running, so I ordered a couple of pairs for each team member to wear in addition to the issued over ear muffs. They worked great there as well.

If that's true then you did something wrong. I have a set I've used for a couple of years now and they work great.
