Default 10/22 & Bushnel Red Dot

I bought a Bushnel Red Dot for my Ruger 10/22. I can’t get the red dot to raise up high enough to work. Is there some sort of “small” riser or shim that is made to get that Red Dot elevated? Thanks

Had two Ruger 10/22. Used the stock picatinny rails came with the rifle, one with Bushnell TRS-25 red dot, one with $30 Amazon 4X scope. No problem on both of them.
Two options:
- Install the Bushnell red dot on the other gun see if the red dot is OK.

- Install another scope to your 10/22, see if the picatinny rail it is OK.

I am using the Power Custom picatiny rail with the Bushnell TRS-25 red dot.
Works just fine.

i use the stock rail with my trs25 and no riser. works fine.

funny, once i got mine zeroed, i look thru it now and see just how horribly misaligned the iron sight is.
