Have used CPR (successfully)...on an old lady...couldn't remember the compression to breath ratio so I winged it and gave her 15 compressions to two breaths. What I did remember is that old people often suffer broken sternum/ribs from overzealous compressions. Kept her going until the EMT's showed up, no broken sternum, she survived. One of the best days of my life. I did not remove her clothes (you pervert!) but I later met her husband who was in his 70's and a bit of a character. He gave me a hug and said, "You have my permission to put your hands on my wife's chest anytime you need to." True story.

Honestly with a total stranger (esp at Walmart) in today’s world, it would probably be better to just walk away (call 911) and let professional paramedics help her, especially if you have some assets. I probably wouldn’t help a stranger unless it was a child. Same would hold for my carry gun as far as defending a stranger. We don’t live in the world we grew up in anymore.
