Default SAR West?

Is SAR West worth the trip to Phoenix (6 hour drive)?

Are there a lot of C&R firearms or is mostly modern and jerky?

If I do go, it would be an overnighter from Friday into Saturday.

Thanks in advance

Eddie

It's not as jerky-fied as kali gun shows. I don't look for C&R, although there are class 3 parts sets in the SAR building, mostly WWI and WWII stuff. Do you have an interest in cannons or machine guns? It's probably the best show in the west for that.

Arizona is cash and carry, so there's probably no difference in the buying process between C&R and regular guns. Which is probably why I don't notice C&R's.

Yes, lots of C&R stuff. But if you're a California resident you can't buy C&R firearms in AZ unless you have a C&R ffl.

Not to be missed. Friday's hours 11-5, difficult to cover it all in one day...

i was at the show all day today. Lots of nice stuff. Particularly Japanese WWII rifles. Quite a few tables with at least a dozen or so.

I almost bought a like new Enfield No4 Mk2. It was one of those rifles imported about 25 years ago which were new in the wrap. There was one outside to the right just as you entered for $875 Quite a deal as they usually sell for $1,300

The only reason I didn't buy it is I already have two..

Trying not to triple up on stuff.

If anyone goes there tomorrow They should buy it as it's a very fine rifle at a very good price. It's a 1955 dated gun. Just beautiful with it's blond stock.

It looks like the below Rifles.

I was there Friday and after wandering around the entire show I loaded up on ammo and I found one of my grail items:

Was going to go back today and buy a couple of guns I saw, Springfield 1902A3 and a Tokagypt, but my bank decided to freeze my account for no apparent reason. After 4 calls to customer service and to results, I got frustrated and decided to head home.

I'll be back next year with more cash on hand.
