Default Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber, 10 oz., $5.45 (limit 4)

I just ran out of Gun Scrubber, and discovered that the 10 oz. cans are 58% off right now on Amazon. Unfortunately, the purchase limit is 4.

Here’s the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009O97AQ...p_imgToDp&th=1

I've never used this, is this a bone dry residue-free cleaner like Brakleen that evaporates completely or does it have a oil protective mixture like Breakfree CLP?

Gun scrubber just costs more. Buy a case of brake cleaner when on sale

Both gun scrubber and brake cleaners are light petroleum products

One is gun scrubber and the other non chlorinated Brake clean

Some polymer might be affected by non-chlorinated brake cleaner. I use chlorinated, but unfortunately it is banned in CA. Tetrachloroethylene is best, if you can find. To be honest, since lately polymer manufacturers are facing chain supply issues, they start improving chemistry-nothing is safe anymore! Balistol-way to go!

That chemistry above should be safe for all metals. Unless nickel over plastic.
