Default 1911 TRP Sight pin coming loose

I have a 1911 TRP (the older full-rail one with adjustable rear sights). I am having an issue with the pin that holds the sight top and bottom together working its way out every 100 rounds or so. I can push it back in with my finger but is there a DIY fix for this? I do not want to replace my entire rear sight if I don't have to as they work great and are zeroed perfectly. I have attached a few photos.

Stake the pin so it's tighter when you drive it back into the sight.

Degrease pin. Dab clear nail polish or blue loctite then let dry.
