Great turnout in spite of the heat and we had 17 shooters on the line. This month, everybody was shooting a "Service Rifle" with most competitors using an AR-15 in a CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) configuration.

Johnny led all shooters with a 783 with 19X's. A number of shooters had recently returned from Camp Perry, and there were some great scores posted by many of the competitors. Shooters had the option of shooting either a 50 or 80 round match. There were four stages, Offhand, Rapid Sitting, Rapid Prone, and Slow Prone.

Plan on attending this month's match on September 20, 2015. First round goes downrange at about 0815, and we're typically completed by 1015. Club meeting follows the match and additional practice afterwards. Cost is $12 for members and $17 for non-members.
