I know that it's more of a drive, but Gussler's in Santee will handle everything that you are stating, including shipping.
They have a website and I believe that they are dark on Tuesday or Wednesday? Very professional and extremely fast. Mike |

I’ve used Ammo Bros in Santa Ana a couple times now for an interstate, intra-familial transfer. It was routine for them, no hassle, no debate about CA laws, etc.
I tried Fowlers in Orange and got nothing but extremely rude attitude and incorrect knowledge of the law … they said all I had to do was fill out the CA DOJ online form and submit with the $19 fee (wrong … its INTERstate, not INTRAstate); then they said the handgun could only be transferred if it was “on the roster” (wrong … off-roster handguns are commonly transferred between private parties via an FFL); and then that my daughter couldn’t travel into CA with an off-roster handgun (wrong … as a non-resident, she can legally travel into CA with her unloaded handgun locked in its case in her car, sans any magazines greater than 10 rounds that must remain out of state, thus she can just as legally show up to the FFL with it). |
