Seekins Bolt rifles
So the Seekins Havak Element and Hunter bolt rifles have caught my eye, anybody have actual experience with them, I've read every review and forum thread I can find, would like to hear some personal comments. Fire away !
Thanks, Mark

Element is the aluminum action? I had the Bravo version in 6.5 PRC. Nice rifle, beefy action. Didn't really get used to the cock on close. But fun rifle to shoot. I hear the 6mm Creedmoor versions are really nice and accurate. Seems they had some QC issues with the 300WM versions early on..not sure if its fixed.
Personally i would buy a Big Horn Origin Action and build a rifle off of that. No need to send to gunsmith, their tolerance is real good and you can buy shouldered pre-fits and torque on bbl yourself. Total cost would be less than the Element (a little more than the Bravo). Although that carbon fiber Element stock is nice. |
