Default Black Friday Deals?

Looking for a Vortex PST II 1x6 or Razor HD Gen II-E 1x6. Not yet made up my mind.

I see Optics Planet has the PST II 1x6 for $599.00.

What other retailers should I check out?

Also looking for a descent mount for a reasonable price. No quick release needed.

To be mounted on the MP10.

For a good mount I'd recommend Aero Precision. Sorry can't help you with your optics request though. But I would personally skip the 1-6x PST ll. I was not overly impressed with it at 1x. The Razor will definitely be better, but obviously cost more. So it's up to you to decide if the extra cost is worth it.

Understood. Agreed.

It’s easy to convince a photographer to buy better glass.

Razor!!

Vortex Razor Gen II 1-6 stomps the crap out of the PST in every category, not even a close comparison. It would be more even to compare the PST to a Steiner P4Xi or a Trijicon Accupoint/Accupower and the Razor to something like a Luepold MK6.

Eurooptic.com currently has Razor gen II 1-6 for $899 with the JM-1 BDC https://www.eurooptic.com/vortex-raz...iflescope.aspx

or same but with VMR-2 MOA reticle: https://www.eurooptic.com/vortex-vor...rzr-16005.aspx

If you don't want to buy new you can look for used, but that actually a great deal for new; that is usually what everyone wants for used on all the other forums. My most recent Razor gen ii 1-6 vmr-2 mrad (lnib except for some scope ring marks) ran me $825 used with defender flip caps and a MK machine throw lever.

For mounts, if you want cheaper you can run Leupold, Aero Precision, Burris P.E.P.R., Warne, all will work fine, but IMO if you are dropping the coin on a nice scope buy a nice mount. Larue has offerings without the QD option, nightforce unimount, badger; my personal favorite is the Geissele super precision scope mounts for a fixed one, BF usually they have 25% off mounts. They make one specifically for the Razor 1-6:
https://geissele.com/sopmod-certifie...-platform.html

Or again, look for used. I just picked up another one of these mounts lightly used for $210 on another forum
Well Dang, Ej6fade.

You knocked it out of the park at Eurooptic.com. It looks like they also have free shipping.

The savings will have me looking at a better mount.

Much appreciated.

I just may order up after work today.

That was easy….

Good Heavens,

Leave it CalGuns to show people how to spend their money.

Ordered the Razor from Eurooptic last night.

The Geissele scope mount looks to be top notch. Just waiting for a sale to pick one up.

Geissele makes some convincing product vids and the scope mount return-to –zero and introduction vids are no exception.

I wasn't a fan of the pst either. I looked at it next to a Steiner px4-i and got the Steiner.

Dick sports has a 20% off discount for online shopping, but it ends in 3 hours. Ammo bros has 20% off in store last weekend. But I got an email saying there will have more deals later this week.

Private firearm accessories forum is also a good place to go, but you need to be careful...

Indeed, SWFA is another solid option.

Every now and then, I stop by there to check out the sample list.

I see that CS Tactical is a respected vendor, so I ask this question out of ignorance, not disrespect.

Why does one need to call for best pricing? Why not post your best price on your website? Your website advertises the Vortex Razor HD Gen II 1x6 for $1,399.00. Eurooptic advertised the same Razor for $899.99. So I bought one from them. No need to call.

Why would someone want to spend time calling, haggling, or what may seem to some as playing games?

It may seem like an insult to some consumers that one needs to jump through hoops to get a good price. One guy pays $1,399.00 while the next guy pays less? Does ones negotiating skills dictate the price?

I hope I do not offend. I truly don’t know. So I thought I would ask.

I’m sure there is a good reason.

I am new to this.

Peace.

Minimum Advertised Pricing -"A Minimum Advertised Price, typically referred to as MAP, is a policy that a manufacturer or brand puts in place to establish the lowest price that any retailer or reseller will be allowed to advertise its product — whether online, in print or using any other method of publicly displaying that product's price."

The Vortex Razor Gen II 1-6 that Eurooptic is advertising is a discontinued model not subject to MAP. We are selling the new Enhanced model that you are comparing it too.

Long story short, Violate MAP can possibly lose a vendor which in turn affects a business. We want to stay in business which is tough enough for a small business in California, much less a firearms related business.

I've bought a scope from CS Tactical before. It was a pleasant experience and I would recommend them.
