Judicial Positions?
So any guides for the numerous judicial positions?
if not, i'm just gonna randomly vote based upon how i feel on their name and the little descriptions below their name. i mean do these positions really matter or not?

And all offices matter. If you do not understand the candidates or issues in a race, the best thing to do is not vote in that race. Seriously. Don't do crap like just pick random names. You don't have to vote in a particular race.

I had not seen this site until now that I can recall, but if you scroll down the home page and make it to the bottom, it is pretty obvious where this is coming from, technically and politically.

How did you make that determination? I can't find any supporting evidence behind any of these ratings. The questionnaire is very simplistic, doesn't address 2A, and the judges' responses aren't given.
I'm finding very little case evidence (based on google searches) to indicate the 2A stance of some of these judges. The very little that I have seen doesn't always support these choices. Hoping that you (or others) can direct me to some alternate guide(s)? |

While the site posts their questionnaire, most of the questions on it are not yes/no, and they give absolutely no indication of how they grade either the questionnaire or the qualifications (or even what is considered as "qualifications"). Honestly, without that or the candidate responses, it is a whole bunch of b.s. |

Mailers definitely cannot be trusted. A lot of people rely on those for voting in this election and elections in general, unfortunately. I've seen voters who are Republicans take their mailers in the booth and I recognize the mailer as being put out by an organization affiliated with the Democrats, meant to deceive ignorant Republican voters. You see that with online guides as well. This one, IMO, is safer and more reliable and has the right objectives in mind, and where I know who the juducial candidates are without it, it's been pretty spot-on in its assessment most of the time, same with the guide from the same group on other races. It can, however, sometimes be incomplete, missing a race here and there. |
