Were back early from X9a and 3 for 3. Its late and I'm beat but heres the quick rundown, Wife got her first deer (4x4), buddy got his first rifle buck (2x3), and I ended up making my longest shot ever on a deer at 363 yards taking a 3x4.

Here I am all focused on deer hunting and you have to go posting pictures of dead mallards. A banded one no less. Shame on you for distracting me!

I was out at burro on the public range and 2 deer showed up at the edge and the range was hot! They didn`t seem jumpy at all. You know every person there had to be thinking the same thing. They left after a few minutes.

Duck Opener

Same birds on Duck Opener...Just a different picture.

Second day of Quail season.

Didn't take any pictures of my second day of duck hunting, but there were only 2 birds and they're at the taxidermist already. Will most likely be recycling ducks through him, but I want some AWESOME looking mounts when I'm done. I figure I can get 1 good mount out of 10 or so birds.

I have been out with cougar twice now, and I never seen him shoot more then 3 birds an outing. I think he freezes them and gets a bunch, takes pics once he has enough...

Thinking about it. Gotta talk to the Boss and find out. Weekend after I'm hitting ducks again. I'm just alternating weekends for now. By the way...if RLIII wants to hit up some ducks, I don't mind taking him, he just needs the proper documents to do so, shells, and a pair of waders. I'll decoy and call for him.
