Got it! I don't think the OP explains the result as an [ATTACH]...[/ATTACH]
which is one of the two ways to embed photo while not using photobucket, imgur or other hosting website.

I think the [ATTACH] method is easier to use than the [IMAGE] method of embedding. Also, I did not click on 'New Thread' in order to embed below, which is the [ATTACH]...[/ATTACH] method. Also, I need to get a handle on resizing, as photo below is too large.

Why is it that the photos I embed with a link to a photo that I attached on Calguns don't show up when viewed from a smart phone? Even when I'm in the normal mode. But the pictures can be seen when I'm using a computer.

I started using Postimage.org and it has all the hot links to embed easily without messing with coding. Just like photobucket. it’s free to sign up and easy to use so far.

Not sure if this is the right place but do we loose storage space for file attachments when others attach pics to our threads? I see I'm like 75% used up but I deleted almost all my pics I've posted but I do see the paper clip icon on my thread when others posted pics. Just curious so I don't run out of space to post pics.

Seems like you figured it out. I had a note about using Microsoft Picture Manager or some other file but it was probably not conspicuous so I just updated the OP to make it stand out. Thanks!

You can try downloading Tapatalk app and log in to your CG account through there. You can post pics via mobile device through that app.

The photo size seems to be fine. You can use Microsoft Picture Manager or Paint or some other software to resize your photos prior to uploading

This was probably discussed already but I found the easiest way for me since I always have facebook open and always take pics with my phone and then send them to myself with fb messenger. I just click on the pic and copy image location then when I click the icon here to insert a pic I paste the copy and bam. A pic done quickly. I did have to shrink some of them.

Upper left of page, below thread title, Enter “User CP” area, run down menu on left to the bottom and click “Attachments”. Delete what you don’t want....Power Delete by mass marking on right side.
