We usually start around 8 in the morning but a lot of us stay past afternoon too. You're welcome to come then but I recommend earlier for the cool stuff that tends to show up earlier in the day.

Creek is fine, 3-4 inches of slow moving water.

Whew! That was a fun-filled day. So much cool stuff I didn't get a chance to check it all out.

Special thanks to HuntingSoCal for bringing donuts and the coolest prize ever! And congrats to his son for winning the Cold War Pistol Shoot! Now can someone upload video of the Mosin Carbine Volley? And pictures of the three beautiful Polish M44's? Thanks to all for another great day!

I was wondering who ND'd on the last shoot! It's all good, it was still a ton of fun and if anything, that just made the whole thing even more fun

Indeed, I think that was about as much fun as can legally be had shooting in CA

Everyone knows spam cans come two to a crate so I'll bring the second one for next months prize. WWI rifle of choice?

It was an awesome shoot! We had lots of interesting old stuff, like a Vetterli and Murata. Lots of belt feds, to include an M2 .50 (see shockwave pic above). Congrats to hubtingsocal’s son For winning the pistol shoot with a perfect score.

Way too many awesome things to cover them all.

Ken, how did your steel target hold up? We broke the head off Phil’s as well as two clean holes right through it.

Looking forward to more pictures of this morning.

Also welcome to new shooters that attended, I hope to see you at the next shoots.

I shot the Vetterli and a Trapdoor Springfield as well! And a Spanish FR-8 and Rasheed. Team "Circle 11" was well represented with the three M44's and an RPD.

And I was the one that knocked the "head" off of Phil's steel silhouette (with my Chinese Type 53)! Only thing was, I was aiming at the body!

My steel plate is starting to crack at the joints, but I consider it a consumable. After the holidays are over, I'll pick up another one of the exact same type. It's a good and simple design so I'm sticking to it.

The manufacturer markings on that Colt 1928 are beautifully done. Just a really classy water-cooled MG

It's still alive!

This plate must have taken thousands of full power rifle hits by now, special thanks to Charlie for cutting it so we can all use it!

I blame the smooth T53 trigger.

Better than my Finn's, seriously.

Today was a ton of fun. There were some really fun guns that made their appearance and it was neat to see 8-9 belt fed guns all lined up and firing away. The pistol shoot was fun, congrats to huntingsocal's son for winning. It was great to see everyone again. Looking forward to next month. Did we settle on a WWI theme to honor the end of the great war?

Thumbs up

Such an awesome sight today with all the belt feds! It was great seeing everyone, thanks to Nam, Dave, James, Phillip and Ken for letting my buddy pop off a few rounds. Congrats to Huntingsocal's son for winning the pistol shoot. Way cool!
