Parkerizing Marlin Guide Gun in San Diego
Does anybody have a means of parkerizing who I can pay to help me parkerize my lever gun? It currently has the factory Marlin bluing, but I’ve been wanting to parkerize it, so it’s a little more resilient of a finish.

The shop I had mine done In sacramento closed up some years ago and haven’t found anyone that does it.
Excellent choice though on getting your lever gun parkerized. I had several different long guns done Some time ago and I couldn’t be happier. The go to now a days is the fancy cer-coat. Best of luck. |

Don't do it. I just had the horrible finish on my 870 Express redone by the factory to good old bluing. After that experience, I'll take bluing every day. Leave on the factory bluing or trade it for a stainless model. I am happy with my Cerakoted Remington Nylon, however.
