Awesome blades there.

Not really a knife purchase, but I just got a Lansky Master's Edge Knife Sharpener. I miss my old Crock Sticks with the plexi handguard, and this looked close enough.

OMG, that Cold Steel is amazing! Is that something that is still made?

I think they were made 1999 or 2000. They intent to make 2000 of them as limited edition, but they cost too much to make, they stop making them after 500-1000.

I know they made that style even earlier than that I have one from the 80's I think it was. It doesn't have all the imagery on it just a plain blade. I have had it for a long time. The sheath for mine is identical to the one in the picture. Mine is not near as nice as that one. No fancy wrap on handle just rubber and the end of mine I think is brass.

Order from either of these two places and your good to go. Both are confirmed Spyderco dealers and only carry the real deal. If you order from the first link I have a promo code.

Just received the new ZT 0452CF, really nice, slim design with a long blade (4.1"). And the KVT ball bearing make flipping smooth.

Next to my EDC, HTM Madd Maxx 3"

Ooo that 0452 is calling my name! I might have dropped for the original if they weren't so dang hard to get/immediately flipped.

Just got this to see how I like the design. So far I do.

I will upgrade to something of higher quality if it's still on me in a couple of weeks.
It was $25 off Ebay, shipped directly from China.

Just picked up a QTRMSTR Templeton, not really that impressed. The thing is just too bulky and doesn't feel like it should be worth more than $30. Will probably sell it off and save up a little to pick up a CRK Sebenza 21.

Default Whats your latest knife purchase?

Value for money, it's hard to beat a Kershaw Clash. They're on sale at big 5 for only $20. They hold their edge and are excellent for gutting and skinning. The opening feature is awesome.

Fighter that just sucks. I'm coming out to Calif. The end of the month for a couple of days. Then off to Maui for a week. I'm torn on what EDC to take.
It's has to perhaps be a wonder knife knife. If it's stolen,I don't wonder who stole it. Wish me luck

That's funny, when mine was stolen I was departing on a flight to Maui as well. I took the issue up with Oakland TSA and they basically told me tough s**t. I just bought a cheapo liquor store special once I landed.

Yea its a tough call. May just take a cheap Kershaw blur and leave my collector stuff in the safe. I was on Maui on 911. Carried on me when I left LAX a Swiss Champ and a Spyderco Endura in my pocket. In my check in I had a Barry Dawson neck knife. All went into checked baggage for the trip home.

The originals are pretty unique... cheapest I have seen one lately is $900 on EBAY but some list for $1600.

I have been really looking at the 0452 and today was pretty close then it went out of stock at GP when I went back to put it in my cart. I found it at another knife site for the same price, so I got one. I really like the smaller one (0450) too. I got a NURA 3.0 to check out also. There are only a few value imports with the KVT bearings.
