Default Reloading supplier options in San Diego suck...

<rant>Been trying to find powder and bullets in San Diego and it's just absurd how few places there are to choose from - only one place I know, La Mesa Collectibles, carries anything with regularity. And here I thought we lived in a developed city.</rant>

Does anyone have a suggestion on where I might find 6.5mm 140gr ELD-M bullets without having to pay $20 for shipping?

You will have shipping costs generally speaking but considering mark ups and depending on quantity you may break even or actually a little ahead.

I buy mine from Powder Valley or Grafs. Midway would be a good option.

Checkout retailmenot for coupons for $$off or free shipping deals.

Online best place to buy powder if you order in 8# increments. It's generally about 20 to 30 bucks cheaper than what you spend at the store and if you order 2 or 3 8#ers hazmat is eglugable in final cost.

I load primarily for rifle.

For bulk components buying, Powder Valley is the place to go.

Get online and sign up for e mail list notifications for Powder Valley, Midway, Midsouth Shooters, Brownell's, Sinclair, and Graf's.

They will have sales and free shipping on $50.00 or more. Don't be a cheap screw and buy in bulk. Pony up, pull off the high heels, put the purse down and buy 500-1000+ at a time. You will then be eligible for a Man card.

You'll be glad you did.

Midsouth just had $10.00 hazmat a few days ago. It's over now. watch for cheap or free hazmat for various sellers.

I find Brownells has the best inventory and price for Bullets. Powder and Primers I either get it from the guy at the Gun Show or Powder Valley. Gun show guy is a but cheaper but I don't have to drive and avoid the Jerky.

I moved away from using Berger and Hornady in my 6.5 to NOSLER, INC. - 6.5MM 140GR RDF REDUCED DRAG FACTOR BULLETS

You can get them shipped to your door for $150.00 for 500 when Brownells has 10% and free shipping.
