Default Whatís my century cv39 worth?

Bought a WBP fox AK with red furniture as a replacement for this rifle.I bought it when they came out and before people stated to see that they were junk. I shot it once and itís basically new. Besides it being a known rifle to have long term issues, itís a nice rifle. Thinking of putting it on consignment, just want to know if itís worth anything considerable

It seems to me it’s worth a tiny bit more than a parts kit but less than a real firearm. Just my opinion. Research those prices and shoot the middle.

Prob $200-$300 to someone who knows what it is. $600 to someone who doesn’t

Just list it on market place at $500. It should sell

Someone who doesn't know about AKs would probably happily buy it for $500 to $800.

Someone who knows their AKs wouldn't buy it.

I'd say shoot for $800 and see if you get any bites

Given your description and Century Arms' long experience in building mostly POS firearms, I'd go for full price. After all, it's Calgun's marketplace.

not worth much. put it on consignment. Maybe a dummy in the LGS lookin for an AK will pay top dollar for it considering there isnt much out there. and by top dollar i mean around $700-800

My C39v2, which I had only 20 rounds put through it, sold on consignment for 800.00 dollars. It took several months to sell. Of course, you have to subtract the consignment fee from the selling price. It was stock, except I had a AK Master Mount rail installed on it.

I think it also depends when you sold it, at the middle of Covid and George Floyd? If I got $600 before consignment fees Iíd be stoked

It is a tougher market for 762 AK right now because of russian ammo ban. you can see how many used AK/SKS are getting offloaded in the marketplace. though i bet you can get $500-$700+ if you are willing to wait. if CG marketplace isnt working, put it on gunbroker.

It was in February 2020, just weeks before the start of the pandemic panic in March here in the USA. It had been on consignment for the better part of 2019. As far as pricing, I did not set a price for it but let the dealer do that.

That brings up a good point, without the optics side rail (which I think your 1st gen didn't have) it subtracts some value.

Thanks guys. I’ll probably just let it sit in the safe and trade somebody for something non-fire arm related down the road

That's been the case for around the last 20 years. When Century sold C&R guns, the descriptions were normally honest. When Century sold Century-made guns it was/is a completely different story.
