Default laptop or desktop upgrade Amazon Prime

WD Blue 1TB internal SSD $87...
Said to be back in stock on Friday...
(the 500 GB I did last year on Lenovo laptop was WD Blue and it cost more. Was no problem doing the change).
EDIT; I just checked I did the swap late 2017, 2 years ago, it was a Samsung EVO and cost $140 on Amazon Prime.

SATA SSD is OOS but the NVME version is still available at the same price: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073SB2MXT/

This is a good price for a great upgrade. For older desktops, you can get a PCIE add-in card and drop this in and it will fly compared to a spinning disk.

That's actually a ssd with m.2 connector, but using SATA interface. A NVMe is a drive with m.2 connector using PCIe interface. The speed of that drive is still limited to SATA interface transfer limits (600 MB/s at best, this particular one is 560)

The below is the NVMe version of WD blue. Speed of cheap NVMe drives starts around 1300MB/s, this particular one is 1700.

WD Blue SN500 500GB NVMe Internal SSD - Gen3 PCIe, M.2 2280, 3D NAND, Up to 1700 MB/s - WDS500G1B0C https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07P7TFK..._7V57DbN6S26NB
