Sales to Out of State

FFL Holders:
I have a California registered FN Fal Paratrooper's rifle.
I wish to sell it directly to a private party in a State where they're still legal to buy.
I know that the transaction must be through an FFL holder in the recipient's State.
What other legal conditions should I be aware of in such a transaction?
(are such interstate sales illegal, even if through an FFL?)
I want to act entirely within the letter and intent of the law.

Because CalGuns ads are accessed by persons out of California, I want to advertise it on CalGuns but clearly state its for sale only to an out of State buyer.

When and if I get a buyer, I will check his/her FFL reference if their license is appropriate and current (per the helpful link you've provided).
