I caught this crappie about a month ago at Lake Sonoma.
I didn't weigh it but my guess is that it was around 3-4 pounds.

A couple of the tools we use here in SE Georgia.

All the big pigs packed up and moved to California. We are left with these little ones.

No, really... these are the little ones.

Jackson Lake in the Angeles National Forest on the 30th of June, drove down to spend time with my dad. All off of spoons with barb-less hooks.

Caught my first good sized bass this 4th of July weekend out in Lincoln off a farm pond that was built in the 40's. This was 18 inch 2.5 lbs but there's some monsters in there that are 3-7lbs! Next time I'm out there I'm going to try and catch the bertha ones!

I'm on leave from the Army right now so I haven't been hunting in months so I went yesterday. I lucked out and got some hogs first trip. My buddy also got his first hog this trip. He got his hunting license years ago but never had any land to hunt on so I took him out on my buddies ranch. He hit a boar on the move at 200 meters! He was pretty happy about that! I'm going out again tomorrow. Woo!

We'll here's some of my hunting pics, not really recent but still great memories...

The Black Bear I took over my friends 2 Walker's with my 44 mag, 365lbs fully dressed

Took this hog with my savage 30-06, he was a dandy. My buddy let me have the big one

Turkey on a friends vineyard in Lodi, he wasn't very big but i worked my a** off to get him.

My biggest buck to date, B zone near Whiskeytown Lake.

A great double with my buddy on his ranch in Cottonwood, had to lay under a camo burlap calling with the sun beating down on us. When these to big Toms came into range 2 Jakes and a Hen were just 5 yards to our right. Droped 'em cold at 40 yards.

Got my first buck today!!!! Had a nice 4x4 broadside about 50 yards away, pull the trigger, "click". Learned my lesson about not pulling the bolt all the way to the rear first to chamber a round. My heart just sank. Stumbled upon this guy a few hours later. Taken in A zone off a private ranch by highway 68. He has some really cool points that come out of the base of his left side.

Dove opener north of Niland. 9 birds.....

Gracie was exhausted. I should have limited, it was my poor shooting that kept me from limiting.
