Who's going to post the first buck picture of the season?

I'm not going out until next weekend and I already put fresh batteries in the camera.

My dad, who works for the forest service, said he didn't hear of anyone scoring in Northern Santa Barbara County on public land. He said a group of hunters took a Black Bear on Figueroa Mountain which impresses me because you really don't see that everyday.

There's a pretty large fire going on up there south of Hwy 166.

I'm heading up to some private land near San Miguel next weekend so I'm hoping to do well.

Middle of nowhere

Me being detained by LAXPD, prior to our departure to MX. Really funny story but too long to tell.

I pulled out a forest ranger that got his truck stuck while following a baby black bear on Figueroa Mountain. I've seen two black bears in the Colson Canyon area which isn't that far for bears from Fig M. I've tried hunting bears in the Colson area but never saw any during hunting season.

Looks like east cape near Cabo. Maybe Los Arcos or La Paz or one of the Van Wormer fishing resorts (Punta Colorada/Playa Del Sol/Palmas De Cortez).
Ive fished there many many times. Its actually pretty cheap.

www.VanWormerResorts.com

I wonder what fish wont the pot?

No prob. Those places are top notch for fishing. The owners actually live there too. Very nice people. I know them well. Theyre very customer oriented and go the extra mile to serve you.

They always have package deals. Just remember that its not really too close to cabo so the night life there isnt all that. They have a lounge and a bar and stuff, but no night clubs like cabo. Its a long taxi ride into Cabo. Last time we taxi'd it from the resort, it was like $80 for as many as you can stuff into the taxi. 8 of us crammed into this station wagon taxi so it wasnt bad.

Almost, it's the San San Joaquin River about 6 miles down from the headwaters, its located in the Wilderness, just east of Yosmite I just got back from a 6 day trip, needless to say when I located a natural hot spring, and had been freezing my *** off for the past 4 days and dirty as all hell and smelled like a 4 day old dead coyote I did this!

Was a great trip

Really? Thats funny. Usually pots cant be won with any kind of billfish/sharks/or rays. Also any troll caught fish doesnt count either.

Nice dodo tho.
