Thumbs up Riverside County CCW Experience

Started the process June 3, 2020.
Interview August 28, 2020 (Part of this time span was due to vacation, could have been a few weeks earlier).
CCW Class August 29th, 2020 - Went to https://www.riversideccwtraining.com/
Live Scan September 4, 2020
Approved September 14, 2020

Larry was my interviewer. He did a good job going through my application with me.

Do they contact your company and notify them that you are getting a permit?

They shouldn't unless you're using them as the justification for your "good cause".

Jeff is correct, mine is work related and they actually have you take a form for the owner or principal to fill out. Then it has to be re-done on every renewal, unless your GC changes.

They did not. I did not list any employment reasons in my cause statement.

Default Live Scan

So did you do your live scan there at the Sherriff's Department? Or have to go some where else to do it?

Did mine today at the Sheriff”s office in downtown. I believe the address was 4095 Lemon St. 5th floor. $10, in and out in 20 mins. Very smooth and pleasant people to deal with. Thank you Riverside County sheriff for streamlining the process.

Yep. This was where I went as well. They had the 1st available time slot from the places I was given a list of where I could go. Lady that did the scan was friendly.

DEFINITELY a huge thank you to Sheriff Chad Bianco for fixing his predecessor's shortcomings in the CCW arena.

About a week later. It was the soonest I could get an appointment that fit within my schedule.
