Default Been looking at a Browning Gold Hunter 12 gauge

Been looking at at used Browning 12 gauge Gold Hunter Series shotgun. Found (2) used ones from different stores. One for $800, and the other for $1000. Is that a good deal?

When I should my buddy's, I thought it was rather heavy.

$1000 seems a little steep. Obviously condition dictates. Everything's a bit steep at this time. But I'd think you could get a new equivalent gun for $1K.

After doing my research online, I found out that the Browning Gold Hunter shotguns had many issues with the recycling of shells. Also, firing pin issues.
I had my heart set on a Browning 12 gauge Gold Hunter series, but settled on a Winchester SR4 12 gauge instead. Browning and Winchester, have the same address in Morgan Utah. What I was going to pay for a Used Browning, I was able to purchase a NEW Winchester with a warranty. The reviews on the Winchester SX4, were also favorable. I'll let you know, how it shoots, in a couple weeks.
