Default Livescan needed for Real Estate & CCW

I have conditional approval by OCSD to acquire the CCW, just waiting for BOF4010A to come back from big brother or I find a Kimber TLE RL II then I submit the application. I know I do the livescan and training once the application gets approved. I need to submit the application to sit for the CA RE exam ASAP, and the first step in that is submitting a livescan. I printed both forms for the CCW livescan and the RE livescan.

My question is, can I show up to the livescan provider with both forms and pay for one set of fingerprints? How long is the livescan good for, I am told by big brother they are "behind" and current BOF4010A processing times are 6-12 months.

A lot will depend on the livescan provider, and their policy.

I also imagine that they will have to be transmitted individually, since they end up going to different departments.

The livescan operator can capture your prints and send them to the two different agencies.

Each agency will have a different fee for submission.

So, you will end up paying one fee to have your prints be captured and submitted to one agency, then pay an additional fee to have those same prints be submitted to the other agency.

Also, note that for CA CCW applications, the issuing agency is generally the livescan operator that will take and submit your prints for your CCW application.
^You will need to check with your issuing agency to determine who is authorized to conduct the livescan for your CCW application.

Per FBI...
Live scanned fingerprints sent for non-criminal investigations must be deleted from the live scan system within 24 hours of receiving the results of the fingerprint search.
^This is the new post-2020 FBI requirement.

Per CA DOJ...
Live scanned fingerprints sent for non-criminal investigations are automatically deleted from their system, via the software that manages their system, 60 days from when they are submitted.
^This met the old pre-2021 FBI requirement.
