edit: I’m not seeing anything about a handgun from them anywhere - no pics or announcements?

I don't see anything about this either, I guess they didn't know it was going to be on the roster right now.

Ammo Bros posted a pic on their Instagram but no further details and I can't find it on their website, nor Juggernaut's. Curious to see price.

Is that “add 1 drop 3” nonsense happening? I like the idea of more repeater 5.56 pistols but it hurts to lose even more of the roster.

Yeah, it's active, but I don't think these trigger it because it has to be semi-auto and micrstamping.

Just imagine… 175 Single shot AR pistols make it on the roster. Kicking off 525 pistols.

Leaving the AR pistol as the only pistol you could buy in CA

It’s the Dems worst nightmare…

Very interesting! also just checked Camdon Defence website to see the CD-15P pistol which is a straight pull bolt action pistol.
They are saying it will be on the roster, very nice.

Maybe we'll get Mini Draco pistols too. But wait, the roster will get torn down soon too, so all this is maybe moot.

Just saw the Camdon Defence one their website. Any idea why it's maglocked if it's straight pull? The Franklin armory doesn't come with a maglock...

JT says a maglock and their hellfighter pin. Both JT and Camdon Defense are ready to put a semi auto upper since they already come with a mag lock which they didn't need for a straight pull bolt action pistol but made purchasers easy to convert to semi, that's something Franklin didn't come with.

>Juggernaut Tactical is proud to introduce the first billet-machined and Cerakoted AR pistol on the CA Approved Handgun Roster. The Hellfighter rear pin assembly is complemented by the Internal Magazine lock, making this the best option for your CA compliant AR pistol by having an internal magazine lock, which prohibits magazine changes when the upper is in the closed position.

Pre-orders opened up.

I might have to make room for one.

Seems like pre-orders were live overnight.

If you do swap the upper, then what do people typically do with the leftover single shot upper? Doesn't seem like they will take it back like 2AZone.

Odd that the description for JT pistol says it has a carbine length gas system. But it is bolt action? Am I missing something?

"We suggest adding a Juggernaut rear push pin and you will have a CA Compliant Break Action Fixed Magazine Pistol, same CA compliance system we use on our CD-15 Rifle line."

Yup...all you need to do is swap in your 10.3 URGI upper and favorite brace.

LOL. I don't think Gavin and Rob will give up that easily. Those guys will just continue to ignore the Supreme Court and kick the can down the road with endless stalling. Those sanctimonious guys aren't going to budge. We are in an endless cycle of obstructionism....the don't give a hoot about constitutional rights.

Maybe there's a gas port in the barrel so you can just add your own gas block and tube and convert it that way? Hard to tell since there's only quick glances on videos.

Tricky one, so if you change the slide on your Glock did you just manufacture an unsafe handgun?

But if you did take a trip to Arizona to enjoy some standard capacity magazine shooting, changed your upper or added a gas system and brought it back to California then don't sell it, don't give it away and don't loan it to anyone. "imports into the state for sale" "gives, or lends an unsafe handgun"

The CA laws are easy to follow, don't get yourself in trouble.

Maybe there is no gas tube, just a gas block to plug the hole.

It's their lawyer CYA speak on modifying it to be a CA legal semi-auto pistol.

Semi-auto conversion...

If you modify the Franklin Armory CA7 by simply changing the bolt-action upper for a semi-auto upper, then you will be making an illegal assault weapon due to it not having a fixed magazine.

If you modify the Camden Defense CD-15P by simply changing the bolt-action upper for a semi-auto upper, then you will not be making an illegal assault weapon because it will have a fixed magazine.

I wonder if you are considered to manufacture a firearm when you swap magazines. Cause the gun isn't complete until the magazine is inserted, with ammo.
