Yep, no ammo that I have ever bought at Bee Peed is sold online now. No reason to watch my wish list any longer. At least til if and when this changes.

Only two places have ever "teased" me into trying to buy ammo, going thru the whole process then telling me it's OOS. Bee Peed and Sportsman's Warehouse. These folks are owned now by the same company. More than likely we'll see SW discontinuing online ammo sales too, like many of the other box stores. Might change in the future, but for that to happen it would take an ammo glut. Probably won't happen again in my lifetime as I'm 72 and will probably die of the virus before it happens. Oh well, have some work to do on my guns as I'm going shooting next week. Going to get back into shooting once or twice a week again, as my puppy, now a year old, has had his two operations, neuter and for the bloat, and is now back to normal. Good luck with finding ammo. The online folks must be licking their chops, selling it for whatever their greedy hearts desire, and why not. Take care.

Idk if it’s direct correlation with the news right now but seems 223/7.62 is getting even more expensive. Crazy people want .60 a round for steel 7.62, it was around .30/.40 a week or two ago.

Picked up my order of Mini-Mags and AR Tacticals today and my big bucket of BYOB is finally shipping to store. Looks like I managed to get a good amount of .22lr in time for BP/Cabelas stopping online orders.

Too bad they canceled my order for a 1000rd case of 5.56 though. Maybe SW will come through for me...

What bmeow said. Most everything marked as in store only. None of the stuff I've been watching has showed up in stock anymore since the change. Usually I'd get a few hits per day even if it sells out immediately.

This is normal behavior from the site. When it comes in stock you can order it online again. I have been doing it all weekend and yesterday. Had no problems placing orders for stuff that is in stock, various 12ga and 20ga ammo.

That's shotgun. Try finding any 9mm or 223/556 in stock, online. Most, if not all, have "not available online"

Is that simply because they don't have it

Are you saying if they get a large shipment, they're not going to sell it online? 12ga and 20ga is just as popular as 9mm and 5.56, I don't see the difference except that they had some 12ga and 20ga to sell and not 9mm

Previously it would just say out of stock without the "not available online" wording. That specific wording was previously only on a few items but now it's on everything I'm looking for. It's separate from not being in stock and specific to things being only available in store.

I saw comments elsewhere about it that it's to ensure stores actually have stuff to put on the shelves instead of selling everything online and having empty shelves.

Exactly. In a way, they are following Walmarts. I don't know what you see on a phone, but as I've mentioned many times, I only use a full blown desktop computer with a 28" monitor. When I open the link below, the first thing I see is:

Six months ago, only a couple of the more popular items had this wording on their website. Now, just about all have it for handgun ammo and 223/556 ammo. In the six months or so they started this, I've never ever seen it available online, and back then, you know who closely I watched it. Now, only a few times a day and the only thing that I buy that I see now and then are 22lr's, never 9mm or 223/556. They are getting like other box stores, none, or very little sales of ammo online.

I went in to pickup ammo today and the guy who was helping said they have received no official word about the 'online only' thing with some ammo, but the employees have also noticed the new behavior and were just as curious as us. So who knows if it is temporary or what

And I guess it is new behavior, though I have not seen it yet and may not even know what I was looking at if I did since all I buy from them is shotgun ammo.

The good news is they had Herter's 12ga low recoil target in stock in store for $6 a box in case qty, so I grabbed a few more cases while I was picking up my web orders

Thanks for the info. Like Walmart's, it doesn't seem to affect shotgun stuff nor much of 22lr. The Blazer 22lr has been up and down all day, probably just a tease. Others in various forums have mentioned the same about the handgun/rifle online sales no more at Bee Peed. Hopefully, it's temporary but I have my doubts as the 'crats want to eliminate all online sales of guns and ammo. They are just dumb enough to try to do it too.

Hear hear! I need some 9mm but I would rather not shoot as much than pay people’s outrageous prices. LGS in my area is still selling ammo for normal prices while several other stores are selling it for $30 ^ for the same ammo. Only downside is one box per customer, which helps curve one or two guys clearing them out but also slows down getting more ammo.

Yeah I’d like to support the small businesses but they’re price gouging. Best bet to find normal ammo pricing is going to bass pro, turners, sportsman
