Only way to get over something is getting through it, i.e. you need to buy this. Then you won't be stressing about whether or not to get it. Simple!

The sounds of those targets being hit reminds me of an old timey Western flick.

From Hard Air Magazine:
LCS Air Arms SK-19 Air Rifle Review .22 Caliber Archer only gave it a 93%. Clearly it's a dog. |

I saw a Benjamin Marauder .22 go right through a woman’s thigh, in one side out the other through both sides of her jeans. If I had no other means of protecting my family or myself I wouldn’t hesitate to reach for it if I had to. I own one in .22 and one in .25, they are very accurate and very powerful! Don’t doubt them. Well...did OP take the bait and buy? Or did this thread hit its mark

Actually, if the OP waits, say, five years, I bet there will be many semiauto and auto PCPs on the market, and they won't set you back $2,000. |

Is that an allusion to the effects of what'll potentially happen to the firearm market over the course of the next presidential term?

After president Harris and vice president Biden take all of our centerfire guns away, airgun prices like that will look pretty sweet.

The SK-19 is fast to shoot empty. But very slow to reload due to the fixed magazine. The latter is reloaded like a single action revolver cylinder, without the need to eject spent cartridges.
The SK-19 is a lot of money for something that is fun, until the novelty wears. Then you wish your next door neighbor owned it. Or, at least paid for it. There may be special applications that might justify the price. Else you will take this airgun out when you want to impress your friends. Unless it is your only one, you might reach for something else for typical airgun applications. If it appeals to you, check out the Huben K1 for $1500 as an alternative: https://www.airgunsofarizona.com/pre...pcp-air-rifle/ https://hardairmagazine.com/reviews/...pcp-air-rifle/ Safety considerations: Both the SK-19 and Huben cannot easily be unloaded (because the mag is not removable). They are always cocked because they are "hammerless". So, turning on the safety is the only way to make the gun safe; short of shooting it dry. The above semi and full auto airguns are more like open bolt SMGs, with the bolt held back by the sear; ready to go. They are fully "hot" all the time with no option of mag out and chamber empty; or loaded mag in, with an empty chamber, as a safe but ready state. You verify unloaded by shooting until empty. Be aware of this unusual wrinkle. Discharging a firearm to prove it is empty is not good practice. In my opinion, it is not for an airgun either. At least with bolt or side lever action PCP airguns, you can leave the breech open and remove the mag to ensure it is completely safe, when showing it to your friends. Yes, you can have a pellet already loaded in the barrel, that cannot be extracted, so the handling of airguns is a bit different from firearms. If you want a fancy semi-auto airgun that uses removable mags, look at the Edgun Leshiy 2: https://www.airgunsofarizona.com/pre...air-rifle-.25/ Last edited by subscriber; 01-12-2021 at 8:21 PM.. |

^ Agree with subscriber's comment. The thing is cool as all get out, but I can see it losing its luster after some time. Then you're stuck with a $2K air gun that you won't be able to recoup you losses on.

If OP must scratch the PCP itch, keep it within the Calguns community and give the marketplace a try. Just saw this pop up:
